I just started running after years of poor health and surgery. I knew I needed to get healthier, I had two more surgeries ahead of me and had complications from previous surgeries including a knee reconstruction. I've spent years letting my pain control my life. I've quit smoking for the past few years so I started running 2 months ago. I started exercising 5 minutes 3 times a day which caused severe pain in my knee, but now after almost 2 months I can walk 2 miles! Soy was curious about how I get on with the bmybwalkingband and start an aerobics class I found on YouTube, hey its free! I've searched through so many different pedometers, read so many reviews which helped me find this one and I love it! I wanted something beautiful, light but durable and easy to use. And I found what I wanted and more! The brand new package includes a pedometer, clip, wrist strap, battery, battery installation tools and instructions. beautiful shiny blue color. The screen is a good size and very easy to read. The device displays time, steps, aerobic steps, kilocalories and miles at the bottom of the screen. There are 3 buttons on the front panel, set, mode and menu. The device works in automatic mode, it registers all your steps and everything for the day, and at midnight the counter is reset. It stores information for up to seven days, then shuts down and restarts over the next week. Very easy to use. Just snap it on and go, it does all the work. The device has a clip on the back, to my surprise the clip is very strong and once I fasten it it will never move and because it's so light you'll be fine here. It also has a wrist strap but for an accurate reading you have to carry it in your pocket, I'm impressed with this little device, right out of the box you insert the battery with the tool they send you with the battery. You then enter information such as weight, height and then measure your personal steps, which you use when walking. The step calculation instructions are very clear and simple for you to enter the correct information. It is so easy. I have absolute confidence in this pedometer. I searched through so many reviews before I found this one and I also read that this device is #1 in consumer review rankings and now I understand why. If you're looking for a baguette or just looking for one, I bought it off Amazon for $20 which is half what some other bad reviewers have. "If you need it, that's it!" There was one problem at all and the included battery lasts a long time I was afraid I would have to keep getting new batteries This pedometer is perfect!
