Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Mesh White: Ultimate Airflow Mid-Tower with Polygonal Mesh, Tempered Glass, ARGB Fans by Will Murphy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

3/5 for several reasons.

The sidebar was overdue. Not only was it sticking out of the case, you could see every crease and detail of the case as the panel was all glass, no metal frame, nothing. The net slipped when I flipped it back. It's with an empty case. there is nothing in it. Another factor to consider: why is there a grid here? Fans and radiators at the top should be EXHAUST ONLY, heat rises and convection means heat WANTS to travel up and creates its own airflow as the air expands. Venting the air through this point means better cooling. They work with natural air flow. the net above does what? it cannot filter as it is an exit point. nothing to catch if your intake filters are working. That means this mesh ONLY restricts airflow for no reason. many cases came in. The standard case design requires bottom and front inlets and rear and top outlets (there are some exceptions!). for air-cooled assembly. This case does a LOT right. Mesh front with large intake space. The basement is large enough to accommodate the bays. which can be removed. The case easily fits 35mm 360 rad in front and 280 on top is a good case to work with for the most part. a more open, less filtering option installed in the case, since the front fans have to do the job anyway, leaves the build quality to be desired. Compared to the 4000D's airflow, this case feels cheap, light and stretchy, while the glass designs in the corners feel useless. You basically pay for the fans. I bet $40-$50 of that comes from these fans.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs
