Almost 5 star product

Don't get me wrong. I'm not exactly a fantasy artist. It's a hobby I've recently returned to due to extra time and being stuck at home for the past few weeks. I could use many other products, more expensive and trendy but considering that it is not very good and it is a product marketed to newcomers and the fact that it is a new model at the time of writing Doesn't have many reviews With this review, I decided to buy it and give an HONEST opinion on this product. First of all, I repeat, I am not a professional artist. I'm an amateur at best. BUT I have experience in 3D modeling, Adobe Creative Cloud, 3D animation, virtual reality development and currently working as an IT specialist for a company. In terms of hardware, I feel like I've gotten the hang of it a bit. What this product does well is actually quite a lot.1. Although the product is mostly made of plastic, it doesn't feel cheap. Reminds me of old graphics tablets like the old Wacom Bamboo and Intuos that I had for a while. Very durable! 2. Buttons feel solid. I'm a big fan of hotkeys and seeing and feeling real keys gets me excited because they are responsive and give a satisfying click.3. The brightness of the display is perfect in my opinion. I haven't found a way to change settings other than those built into Windows, but overall I'm happy with how it looks.4. Pen sensitivity is great! I mainly use Krita, Clip Studio and a bit of Photoshop and haven't had any issues with responsiveness, lag or even pen stuttering. The pressure sensitivity also feels incredibly responsive, and while I don't use the tilt feature very often, I haven't had any issues with it. Super hard stuff! 5. I bought the product with the stand and I am not disappointed. Has 6 positions to choose from and feels and looks strong like a product that will last a while.6. This product is also suitable for beginners or as a portable display for on the go. Some might argue that a larger display is better, but I'd argue that size doesn't matter that much when you can easily zoom in and out to draw or add detail. For the price this is a steal. I've tried and used the Microsoft Surface Pro 6, iPad Pro Gen 1, and Wacom Cintiq for a week each and while this product is no better, it's certainly comparable to these much more expensive products. Huion Kamvas just doesn't feel like "premium" but still feels great! Now for the PROBLEMS I had.1. When I received the item there was a label on the screen. At first I thought I might have scratched it by accidentally taking it out of the box, but on closer inspection the mark is underneath the textured protective film it came with and I'm not sure if it's scratched underneath or whether dirt or dust adheres underneath. . Well, that might not be the biggest issue for most, but I definitely notice it all the time and keep thinking it's a sketch mark that needs to be erased. I doubt the problem is big enough to replace my product with Huion, which is quite a shame. However, please note that your product may come with such a screen defect.2. The upper right corner of the display appears hotter than the rest of the display. I'm not sure why that is. But after a while I get a little uncomfortable and have to wear the glove that comes with the display.3. There's no real way to change the brightness, contrast, or other monitor presets. Not the biggest issue, the display still looks good, but the ability to change settings will certainly help. Personally I don't mind as I have a good monitor to check how my colors look. My opinion may change depending on how my conversation with Hewion goes. You can send me a replacement and these problems may not recur. GENERALLY I say get it if you need a travel tablet or are just starting out. It has its issues, but many tablets will have issues. I've added an image of some of the main eyes I drew using pressure sensitivity and an image of a weird chip/tag I have on my display. I will update this review with other pros and cons I find in continuing to use this product. Thank you for taking the time to read this review and stay safe! <3
