I bought this rather expensive kitchen sink filter because I thought it would solve my problem - poor sink filtration and dripping water you couldn't see at all! Instead of using a jug filter and not wanting to risk my dishes, I bought this filter - that's the problem. The component that physically connects the sink to your Brita filter can be undermined and unreliable. That means if it's of poor quality it will wash out the water and cause the Brita filter itself to attach to the component (through the round fastener you can see in the product image) while the component is being knocked out of the sink becomes . partially and causes water leakage in the displaced area. In the beginning it happened very briefly, maybe once every 3 weeks. Now the point has come where the component itself won't last even a few hours before it starts leaking again and for me as a buyer that means either physically removing the component from the Brita filter or trying to reseat it to install. countersink or use another tool. In general, the buyer should be aware that these products are very unreliable and now I cannot get my money back that I spent on them.
