Thanks! I've been a slave to reading glasses since I had cataract surgery last year. After years of nearsightedness, I chose distance vision for my surgery. Now I can see outside anywhere without glasses, especially on the beach, watching my grandchildren swimming or collecting shells. driving at night? Now there is no problem! I love it! What I didn't like were the reading glasses. I put them on to read, took them off to do something, and then found myself putting them away and leaving, and then I had to look for them. Many times a day. I couldn't read the instructions on the microwave packaging and couldn't turn on the microwave. Worst of all, I'm a nurse and I can't read my medication log ie "MAR" and then look up and see the patient administering medication without putting on or taking off the glasses. The change in focus actually made me nauseous. These multifocal glasses changed my life! Now I can take medication without taking off my glasses. I can read a book and look up to answer my husband's question without getting dizzy. I can read instructions on how to cook something and then follow those instructions without taking off my glasses. I'm happy! When I had cataract surgery, the doctor asked me how I could be less dependent on glasses. I figured that being nearsighted, being farsighted would make a difference, so that was my choice. This worked for far vision, but then the near vision issue became the new adjustment. These multi-focus glasses solved this new problem. Yes, I have to wear glasses inside as much as others outside, but my dependency on glasses is actually less and cheaper. Seeing outside from a distance is not a problem. Being able to look inside with multifocal lenses allows me to get through the day without ripping off my readers and wasting time looking for them to start reading again. I love her. I wish they had more stores. My only problem is that they are not available everywhere. The ones I have are not stylish to me. They are completely black, my color scheme would prefer brown.
