Now I have 4 of these that I use to take climbers with me and they have had a very hard life, they have been used indoors, outdoors, in the sun, in the rain, in the snow, on ice. Scale the cliffs using a rope that falls off the rocks and is taken on and off many times a day. and so far i haven't had any problems. I will continue to buy them as they are definitely worth it. Another advantage is that when folded, they are smaller than my Petzel harness. So carry 4 of these with you, don't use a bag with holes for yourself. plus I personally like the position and attachment of the front binding better than my Petzel hanger.
