Here's a simple tip from a pro photographer (who has been using professional ring lights in the fashion industry since 1977). If you are using a laptop or desktop computer, you can mount the Ring-Lite so that the webcam lens is in the center of the light source hole (do not attach the Lite to the suction cup, use velcro or double-sided tape to fix this do). Attach the ring)-Lite to the top of the computer and center the camera in the center hole (see image). This will give you a flat, level surface with no shadows.)
