I like to carry my phone on my belt instead of sticking it out of a pocket. Also, I don't care about being low on power or 5G waves tucked in my breast pocket next to the family jewels. For extended use, the Otterbox Defender case has been replaced with a belt clip. Otter replaced many clips overtime. My love handles ripped off this clip and found it on the floor as I got out of the car. The leather looks good. The Samsung S9+ is perfect for this even with the improved NewDery battery case. . They sing and guard. I use a very secure clamp so no glitches. This clamping construction sits very securely. It actually seems like a much safer design than Otter. We'll see how long that lasts. Of course, the loops are the most secure mode, but the leather loops seem to stretch a bit. but it definitely still holds on to the belt if done well. The magnetic closure is sufficient. The hole in the bottom center is perfect for putting your finger in, allowing you to lift the phone conveniently and securely. Otherwise it would be painful to get the phone out of the case. Great case so far.
