I installed this half a year ago and am worried I haven't tested it yet! Other reviews mentioned that they were unable to assemble the parts due to the way they were welded. I thought so too, but you have to twist the piece with the lightbulb. The whole tribe joins in! You do NOT have to break the welded part! I wish I'd paid attention to what size drill bit I used, but remember you'll need it if you're going to install it in drywall. The shelf is lightweight so the drywall alone can hold it up, but I would worry about how long it would last if I didn't use screw anchors as it will dangle and bang against the wall if you let go of the towel. It would be a lot easier to install the anchor bolts if I had a hammer! In addition to drywall, you don't need a hammer! My only problem is that when I let go of the towel it scratches the wall, but the magic eraser works great. The wire is too thin to fit in a rubber stopper without being too visible. The wire itself has no signs of wear.
