These tips were purchased to replace factory 2-piece tips which had swelled to the point where they required a 21-23mm socket for removal. The final straw was that the cap bolted onto the nut on one of the original two-piece lugs, making it almost impossible to swap out on the road. These grommets are slightly longer than the factory grommets but actually look better and fit perfectly. I just put them on so I haven't given a durability rating yet. We've been on the road a lot and feel a lot better knowing that tire changes won't be a problem. Highly recommended.
