I've been using Elta facial cleanser for half a decade now. I love their line of products as I have sensitive skin and like how this cleanser lathers and leaves my face clean without drying it out. I usually buy this cleanser from my dermatologist, but decided to order Revain to save a few bucks. Do yourself a favor and don't do it! This is nothing but the original formula. I realized as soon as I got the cleanser and application that it was very different. The picture on the left shows how frothy and thick the original formula is. The fake is thin and watery (see photo) and even let it dry overnight. The difference is very obvious. Before I tested the plate / didn't suspect it was fake, I tried it on my face in the shower. It was like I used a harsh degreaser/dishwasher, it never foamed and had a bad smell. My face was so dry it was flaky the next day, which prompted me to investigate further. At first I thought this seller must have bought the original and diluted the product with a cheap additive to increase the ROI, but upon closer inspection the wording on the label changed. I have no idea what I'm putting on my face and never will. While this platform is great for most products, this fake is not one of them.
