This product is garbage!

This kettle sucks! The lid has come off and flown away and the bottom is leaking after 3 months of short term use! Both issues are known bugs. I called customer service, spoke to a useless rep whose remedy was lengthy and difficult to repeat and if you need a manager which I did you have to wait 24-48 hours to call back! This product sucks! There are even better ones on Revain! UPDATE: After speaking to the manager for clarification, she explained that Krups does in fact have a lower warranty. They offer no replacement, no refund, nothing if the product breaks in the first 3 months like mine, or even the first 5 minutes! The only remedy is to wait 3-4 days for the prepaid return label to be emailed (it should be sent within 2 seconds or while you are on the phone requesting it!). Then you need to pack it in a box. , take it to UPS, send it back, wait 2-4 weeks and they promise to fix it and send it back, like someone wants to pay full price for a repaired kettle! If they can't fix it, they say they'll send a new one, but the rep didn't sound optimistic. What are their poor customers to do in the meantime? I bought a new kettle here at Revain, one from a company that offers a replacement under warranty. Which is the industry standard. WHAT YOU DO, DON'T BUY KRUPS!
