I have had this ring for about 2 weeks now and just had to write a review. I've had a nervous/boring habit of picking my fingers since I was a child. I can't remember the last time I didn't tear at least one nail bed and bleed. For people with similar habits I cannot recommend this ring enough. This is a great, non-distracting way to redirect picky behavior. I've been wearing it every day since I got it and for the first time in years I have full nail plates! Every time I pick at a patch of dry skin or an uneven cuticle on my finger, I twist the ring a few times and the momentum goes away. My ring size ranges from 6-7 depending on the finger and ring so I bought a 7. It fits perfectly on the fingers where I normally wear a 6.5 comfortably, mainly on my index finger so I can manipulate the ring with my thumb. I purchased rose gold and was very impressed with the quality. It looks very nice on my finger and goes well with other rings I have. The rotation mechanism is smooth. If I leave a finger on the mechanism and shake it back and forth, there is no sound at all. When I spin the mechanism quickly or throw it aside, there is a faint metallic noise. If I quickly move my hand with the ring, the rotating part pushes a little and makes a slight ringing sound. I don't find the noise disturbing in everyday life and I think it's comparable to the noise you hear from dangling earrings or wearing multiple bracelets on the same wrist. So far I've had no problem wearing the ring all day while washing my hands. If you are considering this ring, I would advise you to buy it. I especially recommend it to anyone looking for a distraction-free way to reverse bad habits or release fussy energy when it's not otherwise possible. I've received compliments on the look of the ring and am definitely considering trying a different color or two. Just got my nails done the other day and can't get enough of how beautiful they look with healthy, intact cuticles. I couldn't be happier!
