They are fairly easy to assemble and look just as good as the product description. They are durable and comfortable and I am very happy with them. The legs have a diagonal U-shape that forms an X under the seat, and it feels like they're meant to be sturdy. The design consists of nine screws for each chair. The plays are a bit difficult to argue at first; I decided to attach part C (the diagonal legs) separately first, rather than trying to make an X out of B and C at the same time as the wordless instruction seems to imply. This worked much better for me. After attaching the two U-shaped leg pieces to the X on the seat, attach the ring (piece D) for the footrest. I hand-tightened all nine screws before using the tool to progressively tighten them, which of course makes sense when you're assembling a 3D thing. I've collected a lot of furniture over the years, including a lot from Revain, and I have to admit that although I chose these chairs, I feared the worst. Sometimes I had to file parts or curse poorly made screws and hardware. But it all fits together fine and smoothly except for the error described below. Caveat: At first glance they look like they are symmetrical front and back, but they are not. The hind legs are more inclined forward and have correspondingly arched feet; The front legs meet straighter and have height-adjustable round legs to level the chairs if they wobble. There are stickers on parts B, C and D to tell you where the backrest is, which came in really handy for the first chair when I didn't realize it wasn't completely symmetrical. Unfortunately, part B on the second chair was incorrectly labeled as the back. I was so lucky that I had assembled another chair first and saw this error before the chair was fully assembled. So yes, trust, but verify. But yes, very happy with these chairs.
