I bought 4 of these monitors not because they wear out but because they are fantastic for what I need. I built two computers with two monitors. One for my wife and one for me. She works a lot (Excel, Word etc.) and I go to online college and play. The screens are large enough to be easy to read and have a fast enough refresh rate for 1080p gaming. "Frameless" is a bit of an exaggeration. There is a black border about 1/2 inch thick around the perimeter. When you stretch the image across two monitors, a large 1-inch line appears in the middle. It's inconvenient, but I can play games on one and watch streaming TV on the other. I bought the first pair two years ago and the second about a year ago. I highly recommend it if you're looking for reliable monitors that won't break the bank.
