I just love this flash! It feels good on camera and works well on and off. Perfect size and great price!

I use them on my a6000. I was also able to test it on the 6500 and the a7r II. It works great with everyone. Initially I had a problem with the black model a6000. At first I wasn't sure if it was the camera or the flash. The end result was a camera. If the hot shoe isn't painted (come on Sony) then the hot shoe's internal circuit board is known to be faulty as well. From what I've read about the black version of the a6000 it seems to be more common. In my case it was a problem with the circuit board in the camera. I was able to replace the camera and the new one works great with this flash. If you try this and you have an exposure sync problem, you may have the same problem as me. At first it works fine without a camera. I only had the problem with the camera and the camera exchange worked. Like others, I strongly recommend reading the instructions. They're not very long, and if you don't understand them, you just can't take full advantage of this flash. Or maybe not at all. I would love to have one of the big ones one day. And maybe a second one of the same size. I've tried Sony flashes and like them, but they're big, heavy and I'm not always happy with them in other ways. They work fine but this was perfect for my use. Both high-speed sync and shutter speed seem somewhat limited depending on what camera you have and what lens you're using. I still have to experiment a little with my manual lenses. So far I've had the best luck with Sony autofocus lenses. If you are considering one, I would!
