Unbelievable! Straight out of the box this thing sounds like I haven't heard anything. The photo also shows a Little Bear phono stage between my turntable and amp. I can only describe the sound as warm, rich and three-dimensional. The first album I tried was the audiophile version of Soundgarden Badmotorfinger and it sounds like Chris Cornell singing it in my living room! Burnout is great! A few things, don't touch the tubes, they will burn your hand immediately. Vacuum tubes are no joke and should always be kept out of reach. The front left switch is for headphone mode, UP for speaker, DOWN for headphone. apparently that doesn't work. I was confused for a moment until I turned the knob.
