Nobsound 6P1: High-quality Vacuum Tube Power Amplifier with Stereo Class A Single-Ended Audio Amp & Headphone Amp Function Review

Real analogue sound, which can only be achieved with real tubes, cannot be reproduced with transistors. The quality of it, once included in my desktop setup, was truly amazing for the money. I've seen other models very similar to this one that cost hundreds more. I am very happy.

I bought this amp a while ago. As a previous reviewer pointed out, this is good for speakers as it produces a transparent and warm sound with a fairly wide soundstage, but not so good for headphones as it produces an audible hum that ruins the purity of any music. especially on soft transitions. I don't know what the source of the hum is and it doesn't appear to be related to the filter circuitry. However, if you're just listening to the speakers then this is a pretty decent amp for the price.

Nice little amplifier. By running it through a pair of 1978 LaScalas tuned by Crites. The tubes are still being broken in, so the sound is still a bit dry and sterile, but over time the basses become more powerful and the mids warmer. I would say this amp is definitely worth trying. Really impressed with the performance of this thing. Drives my AudioEngine P4s very well, and the extra headphone output saves me from adding extra hardware to the setup. It is used to drive PC bookshelf speakers, mainly for listening to music and small games. Unbelievable! Straight out of the box this thing sounds like I haven't heard anything. The photo also shows a Little Bear phono stage between my turntable and amp.
