Review on Nobsound 6P1: High-quality Vacuum Tube Power Amplifier with Stereo Class A Single-Ended Audio Amp & Headphone Amp Function by Lisa Collins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wonderful, clean, loud, warm, greatly enhances the music. Perfectly powers the Sennheiser HD650

The first photo shows the warm glow of vacuum tubes. The 2nd picture shows the size of the device next to the tin can, the 3rd shows my EQ setup. My setup: Sennheiser HD650 headphones; ROG Crosshair Hero VI motherboard with ESS9023P DAC; Configuration Editor Equalizer APO 1.2; Audio source - Soundcloud, Radio XM, MP3 and FLAC. First impression: God, this thing is heavy (that's good). Comes well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with matching protective foam, the tubes are individually wrapped and can be assembled by yourself. Installation is incredibly easy and takes about 5 minutes. Sound Quality: After a few days of lights in the device is excellent. It produces a warm, clear sound that greatly enhances vocals in music. It also brings all background noise to life and brings music to life. The sound is perfect for pop, vocals and rock. He's good at hip-hop and EDM, but that's not his best use. It's powerful enough that I couldn't turn the volume up halfway with the HD650 connected, otherwise it's too loud. It works very well with medium sized bookshelf speakers. I did not test it in full size. I didn't notice any hissing except between songs, and even then it's very quiet in the headphones and no hissing at all in the speakers. If you hear a hiss, try connecting the device to its own switch if possible. If not, at least use a switch that isn't connected to another stereo, TV, or computer monitor. And keep cell phones at least 3 feet away from him. Conclusion: a great device that is worth its price, you will find the best amplifier in this price range.
