I live in an area where multiple channels come from multiple broadcast antennas. I expected this signal strength meter to be able to distinguish towers so I could find the best position for each tower and then place the antennas in the best "compromise" position. Unfortunately, the meter cannot distinguish between different towers. and only gives me evidence of the strongest. I still had to use per-channel trial and error and ended up with the same compromised location I had used before (e.g. the counter wasn't working for me).
