Review on Brushed Nickel Pfister R89-1CBK Avalon Tub and Shower Valve Trim with One-Handle by Sara Adams

I had to replace a leaking cartridge for almost a year. My job was to remove the 3/32 hex head screw that was in the original shower handle. It was installed 10 years ago and the bolt was completely frozen then broke trying to remove it. This resulted in the old screw having to be drilled out in order to remove the handle and replace the cartridge. I have ordered this new pen, do you have it as a backup in case I am unable to return the original pen. But as soon as I saw the new pen's redesign, I knew I was going to replace the old pen anyway. The redesigned grip is threaded to allow the grip to be screwed onto the cartridge assembly and a separate floating grip that does not require a grip screw. The handle moves independently of the handle mechanics when that makes sense. Now I have a smoother feel and no more flow.
