First, I use mine for mountain biking, so I come across as a bit unique to top reviewers. I had a pair of Fox DirtPaws that were worn out. After the ride I accidentally left them at the beginning of the trail after loading the bikes. I liked the DirtPaws but was considering buying another pair and wasn't too disappointed to lose them. I didn't know what to expect from gloves that cost half the price of name brand gloves. I was very pleasantly surprised by these gloves. I measured my hand following the size chart and the size is perfect. They are surprisingly soft on the inside (I've noticed this on every ride so far). They're pressed lightly against the palm of your hand, which I find ideal. They protect without being bulky. I'm not particularly sensitive to heat but I feel the gloves breathe well and I've never overheated in them. I spilled the other day and rolled down the trail on my hands. The gloves proved just as good in the experience so I think they will last. I like the look of the metacarpals on the back of the gloves. The only possible complaint relates to the description. There is a terry towel on the back of the thumbs to wipe away sweat. My DirtPaws had it and loved it. My BaseCamp gloves don't have this feature. It's a small thing, but I wanted to be as specific as possible. Despite everything, I am very satisfied. The gloves fit well, are comfortable, affordable, durable and look good.
