The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is the breaking in period for these shoes was longer than I would have liked, again I have huge feet but I can it think the shoe size would take that into account. I didn't realize it before I bought it, but I was surprised that these shoes don't have a traditional shoe tongue. It's hard to explain here, but the tongue is one with the rest of the hole where you put your foot in to put the boot on, it doesn't let your foot in. With large feet (size 13) I had to literally stretch the hole the foot goes into to even start putting it on and even then it felt tight around my ankle. But when I broke it, it became the most comfortable and supportive shoe I've worn in a long time. So do I recommend buying a pair? Yes, the bugs I posted about earlier aren't that big of a deal, I just wanted people to know about the unique feature that gave me the initial troubles. But after breaking in (and all shoes need a break-in period) they are outstanding.
