If you are planning to add a dimmer now or at some point in the future, DO NOT BUY these bulbs. There is a serious problem if at least 2 of the 6 dimmers shown are compatible. They should not be advertised as "dimmable". Our licensed electrician spent enough time using 2 compatible dimmers but none of them worked properly. If you turn the light on with the dimmer at any level below 50%, the light will either not turn on or will flash like strobe lights. While the light is off you need to increase the dimmer above 50% and then turn the light back on, ie when you can reduce the light to the desired level. DO NOT buy these bulbs if you intend to use a dimmer. You will regret it. We are returning our purchase and replacing it with a better product. The lighting is bright and normal when used with a standard switch.
