Yes, that's right! This pillow with a combination of visco memory foam on top for comfort and polyform on the bottom for support works well for me. I tried Car Tush Cush 16x13 which was fine but not as comfortable as the memory foam via McCarthy. Yes, I also have horrible bucket seats (which seem to be fashionable in almost every car made today) with 3-4 inches of recess in the back. My knees weren't even remotely level, no matter how I adjusted all the levers. My car is a 2015 Buick Verano with leather seats. All the cars I've owned have never had a problem with the seats. Well, I think style wins over comfort these days! Anyway, I also use small towels folded at the bottom of the seat in the back to adjust it perfectly to my satisfaction. It takes time to put it in the right position, so be patient. So now my knees are in a straight riding position and my spine is straight on the back of the seat. No more back or buttock pain. Stay healthy, retire early!
