Review on 🧹 Enhanced OXO Good Grips Spray Mop Microfiber Pad Replacement for Optimal Performance and Durability by Jennifer Wilson

A big improvement over my old Bona mop

I bought this model after two Bona mops failed in two years (one broke and the other stopped pumping water properly) . I wish I had made this change sooner as this is a much better mop. What I like: 1. Stronger than Bona Pug. The handle and parts look better, and the spray pen has better squeezing effect.2. more agile. The swivel head makes it easy to use in small spaces, especially in the corners under kitchen cabinets.3. Easier to refill. Bona requested legislation in Congress to remove and reinsert the spray bottle, which I am sure contributed to the failure of my latest Bona mop. This pulls out and reinserts easily, smoothly, and without the drama of the convention.4. Spray has the best direction. Bona was usually sprayed before the mop, so you ended up mopping twice as much area as you wanted just to remove the excess solution. This directs the jet much more precisely, so the spot cleaning only cleans that spot, not the whole room. I didn't use washcloths so I can't comment on that. I use the Bona Hardwood Power Plus Deep Cleaning Pad which has built in soft cleaning strips so I don't feel like I need an extra OXO sponge. And that brings me to what I don't like about this mop: it's narrow. The Bona Pads protrude a few inches on each side, meaning it takes more passes to fully clean the floor than a Bona Mop. (I won't be buying a lot of new attachments for this mop as the Bona Pads fit *fairly* and work great with it.) If they widen this mop a bit to speed up cleaning, it's pretty much the perfect mop to go with sprayer for my needs.
