I would give 5 stars for comfort and fit but the 4 stars I gave was ultimately due to confusion when ordering grey. I've seen other reviewers say they ordered gray but got purple so I'm stuck. I wanted gray but the item described as gray is clearly purple in the photo. When I go to the gray shorts, they are described as dark purple. As if the list somehow got mixed up. SO! I actually ordered "dark purple" with the intention of getting "dark grey" - and you know what, it worked. That crazy shit aside, I'm happy with the product! I'm 5'9" and 170 pounds. I usually wear a size 8 in jeans and medium in gym clothes. However, judging by the reviews, going up the size is recommended. I bought a large and I'm glad I did did it. The waistband is just right, the flip flops underneath are comfortable and everything else flows nicely. The material was actually shockingly soft, quite buttery. I wonder if they hold up after washing... but I like it when the shorts are laid out as they are I think they are a lot more comfortable than the regular underwear shorts you run in. They are very light and airy and are perfect for lounging, yoga, working out, hiking and anything else. I am very happy with my purchase!
