Originally bought for myself, didn't really care about the "male" symbol on the remote. But then I realize there might be a reason for this. This remote is slightly larger than a standard Xbox One remote, making it difficult to play with, especially for women with small hands. It has an amazing response time, just the size and ergonomic design, it doesn't quite fit in a woman's hand.
