Used to connect Kensington SD4600P USB-C Dock to an HDMI monitor
Dock has HDMI and DisplayPort connectors; My monitors don't have a DisplayPort. I originally bought a passive cable with DisplayPort on one end and HDMI on the other end. This setup didn't work and my laptop didn't read the monitor connected to DisplayPort. I regretted my decision not to use the more expensive Thunderbolt 3 dock but decided to give this adapter a try and I'm happy to report that everything works as intended. I definitely recommend this if you are facing a similar problem.
