When I bought this thermometer I did so with the understanding that I was buying a product that I would only use for frying and smoking. I had two chefs and both times the temperature was at par. Before I review a product, I always want to use it more than once. In this case, during both preparations, I used this thermometer several times. What caught my attention wasn't so much the accuracy as the ease of use and the clarity of the screen. I'm including a photo of the thermometer so people can appreciate the color and look of the screen. The price is good, accurate and clear screen. This was a winner for me.
