I have read several reviews stating that this product is too small or translucent but I have found none of this to be true. My daughter is about 6 and it fits her just as well as any item I find in the store. In terms of transparency, the material wasn't transparent or cheap. However, if you have a child who is taller or has a lot of curves, remember that this is a pencil skirt that can accentuate those features.
