Revainrating 5 out of 5

Five stars, small nit images (MORE NITT PEAKS!)

EDIT; 05/11/19 I LEARNED! So reading the manual will go a long way towards improving the issues I had in my review below. You CAN switch the spools between colors (you don't have to take the hoop off and restart anything, just press the arrow key and then the "needle" key to put the needle in a safe position before switching things) . This is also the waiting phase I was looking for. Bonuses I've found - if thread skipping occurs (knots or fabric slippage during embroidery - happened more than once), you do NOT have to start over, there are a number of buttons - whatever you don't know it's actually possible to rewind or fast forward the stick numbers (in steps of 1, 10 and 100 simultaneously). Luckily you don't have to be precise, the car's crosshairs move with the buttons so when you get back you'll know where the incident happened. larger touchscreen or ways to plug it in without losing ONE USB port, the device's internal memory only holds 6-12 templates at a time. 2) Even changing the multicolor theme to one color doesn't change the timings - if you want to use only one color in all stages, you still have to upgrade the car as if you have multiple colors (even change them in the car). doesn't change that). ALSO do not use metal spools, the machine will tell you when to change bobbins during the pattern, but only on a plastic bobbin. A metal spool (I assume) cannot be properly scanned by the machine, so it will continue embroidering with no thread in the spool and eventually stop at a knot. Below I leave my previous rating unchanged. Pe800 owners; Bought to embroider a baby blanket I am making for my best friend. Based on my research, my lifestyle and the amount of embroidery I plan to do, this machine was the best solution for my needs. I bought extra stabilizers and an embroidery hoop which came in handy (the embroidery scissors were a godsend too!; recommend buying extra bobbins too). As someone who has only done it by hand so far, some of the setup guides are confusing at first (my first Brother machine) and playing with the settings takes some getting used to. Sophistication 1) Didn't know the bobbin can't be changed during pre-patterning (try changing it = start over), Sophistication 2) can't figure out how to move the hoop without telling the machine where I'm trying, to loosen the arm, this caused me to bend the needle almost twice to hook/rethread the needle (requires "resting/waiting room", not directly under the needle). Five star bonus - he threads the needle himself! I don't know how he does it, but you thread the thread through other parts of the machine and pull the tab - instant threading! You can still do it yourself but why? (Nit Fig. 3 - the needle must be in a certain place to work, the stopper will not push fully if the needle is not where it should be). Still a five-star car – I'm sure it just has to be sorted out. PEBKC, probably (or PEBEMC).
