My pant size for suits and jeans is 36W x 32D. I usually wear large ones. Bought large. The pajamas fit just right. They fall below my ankles, but don't touch the ground in shoes or barefoot. The elastic waistband hugs my waist securely; it holds up well both low and high on my hips. I've been looking for good pajama bottoms for decades because the bottoms always wear out before the top. I think I've finally found something. I ended up wearing pajama bottoms with open back seams to the seamstress. For almost the same price, I can buy these new pajama bottoms and throw the old ones in the trash. I like the thickness of the material, it's moderate, so they are suitable for both winter and summer. The one button step works very well. I particularly like the two front pockets let into the seam (no patch pockets) like trousers. I plan to buy more once I'm done posting this review.
