Easily retracts for emergencies and occasional use
Allows Midland 75-822 to be used in a car for a mile or two (roughly equal to or slightly longer) than the included rubber ducky. It's easy to hide in a car and can be adjusted by removing the plastic cap at the top and using a screwdriver, but don't expect the same good SWR as a 'real' CB antenna. Don't try a regular CB as you can get a better/taller magazine mount for the same money but if storage is an issue and you don't need a lot of range this will work.
