As someone who has never owned down pillows, you can definitely tell these pillows apart from regular polyester fillings. This set of two 18" x 18" duck feather pillows arrived in perfect condition. They were shipped sealed in a vacuum sealed clear plastic bag sealed with tape. As soon as I opened the package they started to grow. expanding, I still had to fluff them up. It is immediately clear that these are premium pillows. I put them in 18" x 18" pillowcases and noticed that they look a bit flat. I realized I probably should have ordered bigger earbuds, but I'll still use them as is. The duck feather filling looks luxurious and high quality. Not a single feather stuck out, which sometimes happens with down pillows and down jackets. The description says the durability is rated as tough. I disagree and would say that hardness is anything but hard, but rather soft. According to the care instructions, they can be washed in the washing machine with cold water on the gentle cycle. They cost more than similar duck feather insert sets here at Revain. I think these are premium pillows so they still get five stars from me.
