Excellent purchase! my judgement

My daughter used them for hiking in Maine, New Hampshire and Lake Placid, New York! She ran up to 5 miles a day and her legs didn't hurt. Excellent stability on wet rocks and a soft inner surface! Once she even walked without socks. You'll get wet if you stand in the sea, but it performed well in the rain and stayed quite warm. She is 5 years old and wears 12 in all her shoes. The fit was correct and comfortable.
