Review on πŸ₯ͺ Lodge LPP3 Cast Iron Square Ribbed Panini Press: 8.25-inch Panini Maker & Grill by Micheal Chaplain

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A simple and effective solution that has proven itself.

Who doesn't love Panini? Not me, that's for sure, but I *despise* the idea of other electronics sitting in a closet and taking up space; The electronic panini machine is to be buried to join the mountain of other devices that have been reduced to scrap after electrical shorts, broken switches, damaged wires or a power surge. That risk doesn't exist with this cast iron that's meant to last long after you and I are gone. The finish is superb, right out of the box, and the weight is such that it doesn't require any extra effort to sear the lines on bread, meat or vegetables. Heat directly on the burner without fear of damage - no "too long". handle of reasonable proportions; Expect to use it with an oven mitt or towel, though - it's a hot iron, after all. It's also a good size - more than enough for the largest sandwich or steak, but not so big that handling or storage is a problem. Do you prefer the simplest tool that gets the job done best? Do these choices make you smile? Look no further.
