I bought these boards for my 2007 Street Glide. They arrived well packaged and looked great. It was pretty easy to install. All I had to do was pull the top "plug" out of the brackets. The left side is as strong as Hulk Hogan's biceps (in his prime). The right side is very loose and doesn't feel secure. I thought there was a way to tighten the loop but there isn't. So you get this constant "tick" from the movement of the board. The second problem is a design flaw, the ball bearing is stuck so it does its job and holds the board when folded. But when you fold it, it rides on the painted part of the board. Causes cracking and cracking of paint and metal. I've only opened and closed these boards a few times and they look like they're 5 years old. When folded, only signs of wear from the ball bearing can be seen. I wish there was a "mark" for the ball bearing or something instead of ruining the paintwork. All in all, if you're just looking for a set of boards to get the job done, order them. But if you are a perfectionist or a show biker I would skip it.
