Does exactly what it's supposed to. I like the larger size which fits my portable butane stove well. I actually keep it in the hard plastic case my stove came in so they're always together. Probably too big if you used it for hiking or with a small stove. It's fine for car camping, though, and I often pop my portable stove into my Weber grill when I want to sear a steak or grill something over high heat without filling the whole house with a haze of airborne grease. When it's windy I use this screen mounted right on the outside edge of the grill. For a 22-inch kettle grill, this offers a decent 180-degree wind protection.
