It's really cool. Each of the 6 cubes has top openings that accept the included funnels. There is a small hole underneath that lets you know when it's full. The top compartment has holes for storing the funnel. A big improvement over what I had is the rigid bottom tray. Once the cubes are full they stay tight so they don't spill like my old one. This one had a padded bottom tray and I had to be very careful putting it in the freezer or it would crumble on the way. The yellow plastic ring is great for making sure the top and bottom are properly attached and sealed. The boys are just the right size for my standard size stone glasses. I would definitely recommend them to all my friends, family and you. Good product
