I assembled this product and when I plugged it in and turned it on it didn't work. I tried several outlets just to be sure. I contacted Bissell and was put through to a call center in the Philippines. While the support rep was very nice, the language barrier became an issue and I had a hard time typing words for him and he had no geographic knowledge of the US and tried to send me to a service center an hour away. This one obviously won't fly (I don't drive an hour for a new car that doesn't work right away). He offered to replace it and said I would get an email with instructions on how to do it. . I still haven't received an email after 2 days and will be returning the Revain item and never buying Bissell again. I am very disappointed as I did a lot of research on vacuum cleaners before buying and was hoping for a lot more. Obviously they can't do basic quality control e.g. B. Ensuring that a product actually turns on before it leaves the factory.
