Brews well and leaves no leaves in the tea. The lid is a great idea, but I don't use one because I'm brewing in a warm mug and want it to cool down a bit. It's great to flip the lid and have a place for the basket after brewing where it doesn't drip all over the counter. In fact, up to this point I would give this launch a 5. The problem for me comes when it's time to clean it up. Collecting all the leaves is agony. Tapping on the bin doesn't work, I tried carefully and not very well, most of the leaves come out but some stick to the sides and bottom. Starting underwater doesn't help. You can't see where the leaves are while trying to get rid of them, and water has no power after passing through a fine mesh. It might work if I had a bowl full of water to turn it upside down and swirl it, but it's more trouble than it's worth. If anyone can tell me how to get the leaves out after brewing I'll be happy to change that to a 5 star rating.
