Review on Superior VIBGV Full Finger Vibration Dampening Glove by Jason Cavett

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Terribly uncomfortable

I have the same fingerless gloves I used to mow lawns (my mower has moderate vibration which causes severe tingling in my fingers after an hour of mowing). I liked the fingerless gloves but unfortunately the grip on the mower handle requires finger contact which I still found uncomfortable. I decided to buy full finger gloves which I thought would solve the problem. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed a few differences between these gloves and fingerless gloves. First, they have full fingers (good!). Not so good that they added an elastic cuff around the wrist which is reinforced with velcro. While I feel like it's not necessary, I could deal with that other than the fact that there is a seam running the full length of the cuff that is 1/8 inch long and very abrasive. After 30 minutes of mowing I had to take them off because they were digging into my wrists. It doesn't look like a manufacturing defect based on the design so I honestly can't imagine how this could have survived the design phase. There are seams on the fingers that have rubbed, albeit to a lesser extent. On top of that I found I got tingling in my hands after mowing which frankly shocked me as they had a serious amount of padding in them. However, due to severe comfort issues, I cannot recommend them. Perhaps if you had some sort of protective cuff or sleeve to wear under the cuff of your glove they would be serviceable, but other than that you're better off finding something else.

Cons
