This cord is NOT made of polyester. Light weight, I mean VERY light weight waxed yarn which by definition is not polyester. Probably cotton or jute, but not poly. It's also half the size of my REAL 1mm polyester cable. I make simple bracelets out of twine and secure the knot with a matchstick. This thread caught fire and burned my knot before I could blow it out. I'm not impressed! If the bracelet was made for a young man and he got too close to the fire, injury could result. Maybe I can use it to pack packages. It should be safe right?
