Opposite of moisturizing - irritates skin

This product is advertised as "moisturizing and soothing to the skin" - it left me completely dry and itchy afterward. I've been using tea tree and eucalyptus in everything for 15 years, it's my favorite scent for body, hair, face, creams. Not when the other 50+ products I've used have dried me out. I just had to send it back because of the smell. It smells distinctly like the charcoal smell of dry scalp shampoo. It's uncomfortable and after the shower I smelled so... distinctly that I had to shower again with a different soap to wash and cover the smell. The goal was to soothe and moisturize the skin, which doesn't happen. It also claims to work against athlete's foot and cure some more serious ailments: it might work for you the same way a horrible smelling dry scalp shampoo would work for you...it really cleans and that's why the smell is so horrible I think it can do on really strong ones smells help. It didn't moisturize, it didn't soothe, and it didn't smell good. I have never returned products like soap or shampoo but I have to. This is false advertising and smells so bad.
