Only small diameter cords can be used. Otherwise only two fit. You will not get outlets as this device covers two outlets in a duplex outlet. It is not simply plugged into an outlet. You will need to remove the socket plate and it comes with a longer 6/32 screw to replace the existing one so it stays plugged in all the time. I couldn't hide it behind a small table either because the piece protrudes a bit and my table was exactly the same height where the top touched the unit and I couldn't push my table against the wall. I had to change places twice. Also, it takes on the task of connecting multiple USB cables.
