As an artist AND a makeup artist, I'm very interested in brushes. There are certain things I look for in a brush, so let's see if this brush meets my expectations. WHAT IS THIS BRUSH FOR? Synthetic brush, this brush is about a size 8. The bristles have a lot of stiffness but are also easy to manipulate. The bristles on this brush are sharpened to a fine point and the point does not come loose when you press on it. The handle is made of lacquered wood and is comfortable to hold and manipulate. One of the things I look for in this type of brush is spring: if it has a lot of spring, it makes it easier to create creative lines. HOW DOES THIS BRUSH WORK? One of the most important things is to have a brush that keeps its shape, but at the same time it glides easily over the skin and allows you to draw thick or thin lines. This brush combines the best of both. When I use it for fine lines, the tip allows me to draw a very fine line on the skin, precise and easy to control. If I click on the brush, I can also make thick lines. The beauty of this brush is that I can easily go from thick to thin by reducing the pressure on the brush. With this brush it is very easy to create an image with details. This allows you to make really beautiful drawings for make-up. CLEANING I use Zote Laundry Soap Bar Pink 14 each, 1 oz (pack of 4) to clean all my brushes for any type of face painting or makeup. It cleans really well and allows the brush to regain its shape nicely but with softness. However, any soap and water can be used with this brush. BOTTOM LINE If you like to draw thick and thin lines when applying makeup, this brush is excellent. Fantastically bouncy and easy to use, this brush allows me to draw great facial features with fine detail. Easy to clean and hold, this brush is great for makeup.
