I live in downtown Tucson, in a bad area. Too many things stolen! I love this chain! It's too heavy (20 pounds) to carry around. I tie my Vespa scooter to a lamp post with a locking ring. The chain is hardened and must be cut with a hacksaw to remove it. The chain case is made of nylon and protects everything you lock! Don't skimp on a regular lock with this chain
