Not for clinical use

Way too bright to be used for checking pupillary response. You need to cover the bulb with two layers of tape in order to not be blinded after use.

Pros

Reliable and easy to use. Works right out of the box. Just needs batteries.

Cons

The pupil gauge is not accurate and can produce false readings
