do not use your tongue

Good. I like the thin end, works on motorcycle type battery clips. Other connectors are bulky or plastic coated. If you need it for safety reasons, just don't mess around with batteries. The spring is quite stiff, the connection is good. The clamping material (steel) is thin but relatively stiff (in the direction of force application). Step on it or roll a vehicle over it. Maybe it's time for a new one. The copper plating looks thin, I bet it's not very corrosion resistant. We will see. I would rather pay more for the same item made from a much thicker material. The other, sturdier looking clamps seem prone to silly, bulky, or insulated ends, so I'll use those and try not to crush them. I will be using a crimp on spade lugs and attaching them with a bolt/nut as this thin material may not provide a strong crimp.

Pros
  • Fits cables up to 8" diameter
Cons
  • No performance
